| Introduction | I'm a chick. I like to play video games, listen to progressive metal, watch all manner of geekery on Discovery and the Science Channel, and watch movies with lots of explosions. I also knit, read romance novels, cry while watching "Sense and Sensibility", and snorgle my three cats. My husband doesn't enjoy any of those similar activities (well, depends on the movie), and I expect my son will eventually play video games and engage in geekery. I look forward to the day I can laugh my ass off as my ten-year-old owns a thirty-something in multiplayer on whatever version of Halo is out in ten years. |
