Introduction I've traveled to 37 countries, many of them quite exotic. I helped found the first hut-to-hut system in Nepal and used to lead treks to the Everest Base Camp. I wrote a book about the Sherpas called Beyond the Summit. My son is a prominent micro hand surgeon in Houston and I have a granddaughter who is 7. I'm an outdoors person and have spent most of my life exploring the Rockies.I have a BA in Literature and a Masters in Library Science.
