| Introduction | A wife of a wonderful and very supportive husband Kirk; a mother of one son Jeremiah; and adopted "mama" to our two cats; Lenny and Squiggy. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I have been here in the US for over 30 years. San Francisco was always been my home. But about 7 years ago, we moved here to Pacifica; about 20 minutes drive from San Francisco. We love it here, we’re near the ocean; and the weather, mostly it’s foggy but it’s very nice during summer time, it does not get very hot. Because of my interest in cooking, I enrolled in Tante Marie Cooking School in San Francisco and I also learned the art of baking cakes and pastries. In 1998 I started a part time catering business, because I was working full time in the San Francisco Chronicle Newspaper. Unfortunately in 2008, my job in the Chronicle was outsourced, so I decided to do the catering as a full time job. I enjoyed cooking, be it a Sunday dinner at home with my husband and son, or, entertaining relatives and friends; or even planning menus for special events for my clients. I hope that you will like and try my recipes. |
