| Introduction | I’m Jane. Born and raised in Tennessee. I’ve lived long enough to know life doesn’t come out the way you plan it. I’m a wife, a mom, a stepmom, and a grandmother. I live in a small Tennessee town where the trains rattle the windows and an ordinary day can still go sideways before supper. I’ve got ADHD. I raised four kids with ADHD. One of mine also has autism. Now I’ve got neurodivergent grandkids too. Noise and motion have been my normal for decades. If it goes quiet, I start thinking something’s off. I write about life as it happens. The good days. The hard ones. The funny messes in between. The ordinary things that would disappear if I didn’t put them somewhere. I don’t clean it up or pretty it up. I’m not trying to sound polished or important. This isn’t a fancy blog. It’s just me, usually with coffee going cold, writing down what it’s really like to live this life in a small Tennessee town where nothing happens and everything happens anyway. If you want perfect, you won’t find it here. If you want real, pull up a chair. |
