Introduction Sue moved to a shabby 1940's bungalow eight years ago so that she could live her dream of living in the country with her gardening girlfriend. She has a teenage daughter with large feet who lives with them and two other children who visit. A rescue dog completes her family. Sue has a weakness for stripey tops (she has 15), linen scarves, earthenware, silver jewellery, olives, picnics, dancing in kitchens and peering through keyholes. Church organs, chiming clocks, Morris Minors, windmills, lighthouses and anything Scandinavian make her go weak at the knees. By day she weeds and mows by night she dreams of mystery, travel and adventure. She would love to finish writing her book and doing up her bungalow but keeps getting distracted....
Interests Singing in cathedrals, reading old yellowed books with thin pages, cutting and sticking, long walks up steep hills, writing in small notebooks on fast trains, steamed up teashops, rummaging in charity shops, fungi forays, baking large cakes, films with subtitles, unusual theatre, travel, keeping a diary (since 1978!), getting bendy at yoga, collecting unattractive 1970's brown china and drinking real ale out of a pewter tankard
