| Introduction | I am the only daughter to a fabulous woman who raised my brother and I as a young widow. I have not yet been blessed with children of my own but I have a desire to teach children. I have a 3 year old Shih Tzu, Fiona. I often refer to her as a little person with a permanent fur coat. I promise you that if I did not know any better, I clearly hear her defiantly tell (bark) me "NO!" when I ask her to leave the kitchen!I have been in school on and off long enough to have a Ph.D. but am working on my undergraduate degree in Special Education. Laughter is a huge part of my life, especially when surrounded with my cousins! Laughter is good for the soul. Life is not always pleasant but my joy comes from the Lord. If I can make one person smile by extending an act of kindness, my heart runneth over with joy. I love God and appreciate every blessing and every bit of grace and mercy He has bestowed in my life. One of my favoriate scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11..."I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord;plans to prosper you not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future." He brought me this far, I know He will see me through. |
