| Introduction | I am Sital Sarkar from Howrah district of West Bengal. Gardening is my hobby from my school life. I have completed my education on Botany and after completing my M.Sc , I joined Bidhanchandra Krishi Vidyalaya as a research scholar. I worked there for 12 months on tissue culture and floriculture.In the mean time i got an appointment as an assistant teacher at Khasarhati High School of Paschim Medinipore. Now I am presently Teacher In charge of this school. But I cannot leave my experience on gardening. Now i have cultivated a garden on my rooftop. Now i have 150 varieties of plants. I have found that rooftop gardening is very useful in the urban area. Now i want to share my some ideas and experiences to you .Hope it will be helpful for new gardeners. I shall be very much pleased and elated if the new gardener can be benefitted by my ideas. |
