| Introduction | Diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on August 30, 2012, mastectomy with the beginnings of reconstruction 10/24/12. Radiation for 6 weeks/5 days a week through January/February, and exchange surgery on 6/13/13. Areola tattoo on 9/27/13. Skin is too f*d up for nipple reconstruction. Thanks, radiation. Tamoxifen torture from March 2013 until it almost killed me. Quit that crap February 6, 2014. Now, the healing crisis from that garbage on top of trying to fend off the cancer... What a ride! |
