| Introduction | I'm Sandy, and I have a passion for being creative. I'm a recovering perfectionist, and although I still have relapses, I am learning to let go of my need to get things just right...and then fixing them...and then getting them just right...and then fixing them... ...and...well...you get the idea.... I love sewing because it reminds me of watching my mother sew when I was a little girl, and it also allows me to let my creativity bloom. I have to admit that I, too, am a fabriholic (as are most sewers you know). I've been married 20 years (yes...of course, to the same wonderful, handsome and funny man), and I'm a mom to a beautiful 8-year-old daughter. Most days I spend in my studio either sewing, writing about sewing, or working on my sewing web site. I am a teacher at heart, so just about everything I do centers around sharing what I know with anyone else who wants to know! :o) |

| Favorite Music | I like (and listen to) absolutely all kinds of music! One day it's classical, the next day it's the 80's, the next day it's all guitar or maybe all piano...my favorite instrument is the cello, so I listen to a lot of that. |
| Favorite Books | I don't read many novels anymore because I'm so intrigued with "how-to" books. I have a thirst for knowledge...I want a FAT brain! |
