| Introduction | I enjoy teaching because every day brings new rewards and challenges. Whether I'm tweaking a lesson or trying to untangle the emotional web of adolescence, my job is creative, stimulating, and requires me to draw on reserves of patience, knowledge, and instinct that I didn't know I had. While my role is teacher, I often feel that I learn and benefit from my students in ways that make me a stronger human being. The combination of middle schoolers' angst and humor, self-consciousness and impulsiveness, keeps me on my toes and makes every day an adventure! |
| Interests | When I'm not teaching or reading students' writing, I enjoy reading, especially with a warm cat in my lap! I also make time to swim laps, take long walks (or short jogs), and tinker in the garden. |
