| Introduction | I am a Photographer and a Potter and in teaching both mediums for many years, my aim is to put my pupils in touch with their CREATIVITY. I am essentially an outdoor photographer and my camera is the vehicle with which I express emotions and convey experiences. When traveling it also becomes my visual dairy. Under the name of “DANCE of LIGHT”, with Eric, my son and partner, we presented numerous photographic courses and workshops in Stellenbosch, South Africa and Namibia. A highlight in my photographic career was in Lucerne, Switzerland, when my photographs and Audio Visual presentations were well received. In 2009 I was selected by SANAVA (South Africa ART ASSOCIATION) as the first SA “ARTIST PHOTOGRAPHER” for a 2 months sojourn in PARIS, at “LA CITE INTERNATIONALE DES ARTS”. This was the most enriching experience I could have ever wished for! I have been a speaker at numerous Congresses in South Africa. Currently I travel often and also present Workshops in Namibia & Macro Workshops in South Africa with JJ Van Heerden & Tanya Stergianos. |
