| Introduction | As a clinical psychologist, I try to keep the course of treatment as short term as possible. Our visits require your active efforts to change thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I hold a Ph.D. from NYU. I am licensed by NJ as a psychologist (#1110), and I have been an independent practitioner in Cliffside Park since 1979. My Associates: Julie Mikelberg is licensed as a professional counselor, LPC in both NJ and NY; she is also credentialed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Julie works with individuals on a variety of issues and provides conjoint counseling, often working in tandem with me. Her approach is interactive, gently challenging, and problem/solution focused. Mrs. Liliana F. Pumpido is a licensed social worker and experienced in dealing with mental health problems as a retired school social worker. She is bilingual and is a trained Reiki healer. Mrs. Caridad Garciga, an active school guidance counselor, is also seeing clients under supervision in becoming credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Mrs. Garciga is also bilingual. |
