| Introduction | My Background: Currently A Counselor through Res Care in a Job Corpse setting in the Miami Dade area. Interested in creating opportunities for empowerment for individuals of all backgrounds. Was a counseling intern for eight month's at Broward health's Crisis Stabilization unit. Interacted with clients who have mental illness, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, and or other environmental issues. Focused on providing quality psych-educational and short term process groups for these individuals. In addition to family and couple therapy that directly involve the client in crisis. Has a knowledge and understanding of Cognitive Behavioral, and REBT that can be accurately applied to the counseling process. |
