| Introduction | I am a daughter, sister, auntie and grannie, a wife and mum of two handsome grown up sons. This blog grew from an idea suggested by my boys both much more technically able than I am. I have been quilting for about 5 years now and most of the quilts I produce now are donated to charities close to my heart. Mum died in June 2013 having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 5 months earlier she was also a keen needle woman. During her illness she was nursed by so many caring ladies especially those from Marie Curie Cancer Care. This is the charity I will be supporting over the next year or so. I hope you enjoy following the progress of my quilts and hopefully by sharing the link, spread the word and raise a few pounds for the cancer charities. As I complete a quilt I will publish it for all to see and perhaps someone out there will buy it for a good cause. Thanks for following. |
