| Introduction | Hi! I'm Jill. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Ben for 11 years. We have two amazing boys Presley age 8 and Chandler age 6. I'm a Potted Zebra. Or I'm a Zebra with POTS. I have EDS Type III (Hypermobility type) and POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a form of Dysautonomia) Why are EDS patients zebras? It’s from the old saying “If you hear hoof beats think horse not zebra.” Doctors live by this standard of thinking. But, EDS patients defy Occam's razor. We are not common and we are not simple! We are zebras! |
