Introduction	In June 2007 I was asked to be a consultant for the U.S. Paralympic athletes. For the past year I have been fortunate enough to coach two seated throwers, Carlos Leon and Scott Winkler, at Lakeshore Foundation (an Olympic and Paralympic training site located in Birmingham, Alabama). Recently, I was selected to the U.S. Paralympic track and field coaching staff as an Assistant National Team Coach for the 2008 Paralympic Games.
