Introduction | My husband, Jim and I live in a small "village" in Northeastern, Mo. We have two teenage sons and a teenage daughter. I grew up in the small town of Osborn, Mo. Jim and I have been married for almost 20 years. We have a dog, 5 cats, 3 fish, and a gecko. I was the oldest daughter of 7 children. During my childhood you had to use creativity if you wanted something, as we never could afford the "fine" things in life. I remember creating my first,"Martha Stewart" Christmas wreath when I was twelve years old. I used my aunts evergreen bushes and an old clothes hanger.--I was very proud of myself. I took wood shop in high school for several years. I have always loved creating things. |
Interests | I love all things to do with art. I love to sew. My grandmother, Catherine started teaching me how to sew when I was six years old. She also taught me the fine art of "Junking!" I can actually remember attending auctions when I was 2-3yrs. old. I love antiques and collectibles. I have an extensive knowledge in the field of "junk!" I like to refer to it as RECYCLING!- SAVING THE EARTH! I like to incorporate vintage items into my one of a kind creations. I also love to garden. I collect David Austin roses and scented geraniums. I use the name, "EARTH ANGEL", as I feel that is what I am. I am saving the earth by passing on my unique handmade crafts, and my recycled "finds." |
