| Introduction | Lake Victoria Youth LGBT is a not for profit agency that strives to promote the rights and well being of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual and Transgender people in Uganda. The organization started in 2010 mainly inspired by the need to uproot and fight state sponsored injustices meted upon the sexual minorities in the Ugandan society, after the introduction of the Anti-homosexuality Bill 2009 by the Parliament of Uganda. Our main Mission: To empower and realize a proud lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in Uganda by reducing homophobia in society.
