| Introduction | I am a married Catholic man with six children, one granddaughter and a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam war. I believe in the Culture of Life and my politics are unorthodox - meaning that I don’t fit into the LEFT-RIGHT mold. I come from a family of Democrats - Jeffersonians - but have become disillusioned along the way by the leftward and socialistic movement of the party while at the same time repelled by the Bush (I&II) brand of Republicanism which is much too militaristic and inclined towards plutocracy and fascism. Hence, my alienation from the two party system. The economic philosophy I am also intellectually attracted is moralistic libertarianism and the premises of Distributism. I guess this makes me a radical populist of sorts. |
