| Introduction | "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind." This quote by Bertrand Russell holds a great deal of meaning to me. I am extremely passionate about love, knowledge, and mankind. All I've wanted to do since I was a child is travel the world, get to know people from other cultures, and share this abundance of love I have in my heart with others. I created this blog to express myself through writing and ultimately, to inspire you to see the beauty in the world, not just that which lies outside your front door. I'm not talking about pretty flowers and landscapes, but people. There is much that is kept from us and the only way to know the truth is to search for it. Question why things are happening in the world, and then, look deeper. It's through our most difficult realizations that we learn the most about ourselves and others, which enables compassion and understanding. |

| Favorite music | I like EVERYTHING. Some of my favorites, M83, Empire of the Sun, Airborne Toxic Event, Muse, Neil Young, The Doors, The Beatles.Turn the radio on to any station and chances are, I know the song. I really, really love British bands and anything with an 80's beat. 80's music is my favorite. It makes me happy. |
