Introduction	My whole life changed suddenly after my husband Jesse, my companion, my lover, the father of my two children died in his sleep on March 21, 2012. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him. Jesse and I spoke to each other throughout the day via texts, or emails or quick phone calls and we would talk pretty much about everything...things going on at work, weirdness on Bart, posters for exciting new plays in the city, I love you's, quirky threads on our favorite message board, stories about our daughters, nine year old Isis or three month old Maya. We spoke all the time...even when we were mad at each other. Now that he's gone, I have nobody to share my stories with. I have picked up the phone numerous times to reach out for him and then reality hits me. Jesse was a gifted writer amongst many other things and he always encouraged me to write or start a blog. This blog is not just for him, but also for me...so I can tell my stories, our stories, and grieve and continue to live.
