| Introduction | Sid Tafler is a writer based in Victoria, BC. He has studied and written extensively about ancient and indigenous people. He has a particular interest in the Stone Age era of 40,000 to 30,000 years ago, when two species of humans, Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal, lived in Europe and Asia. He has visited cave art sites in France and prehistoric sites in North America, Europe and the Middle East. His article Old Man in the New World, about Kennewick Man, won a Western Magazine Award. |
