| Introduction | I've had various roles at Lyris, Inc., such as a front-line programmer, front-line support (in the days before we had a support team!), and managed the support, IT, and professional services teams before I became a Director in the Engineering department. I've specialized in the technologies required for email marketing, such as SMTP, networking, HTTP, and programming/scripting languages such as C++, Java, C#, Perl, PHP, Tcl, JavaScript, etc. Even though I've spent most of my career at one company, I've been involved with a number of products and various technology stacks. Before I came to Lyris, I obtained my Ph.D. in computer science from U.C. Berkeley. |
