| Introduction | Julie Bloss Kelsey (aka Mama Joules) is a freelance science writer, poet, and a mother of three. I have a bachelor's degree in the biological sciences and a master's degree in environmental management. Why Mama Joules? Well, I'm a mom and my friends have called me "Jules" for years. In my first college chemistry class, I learned that a joule was a unit of energy. I thought it was pretty cool that a science term was named after me! :) |
