| Introduction | A monkey is anyone from the piece of land called Lebanon. A purple monkey is a different monkey; one that supports under-represented monkeys, oppressed monkeys, gay monkeys, agnostic monkeys, environmentalist monkeys, pacifist monkeys, feminist monkeys, marijuana advocating monkeys, and other friendly monkeys. This blog will be mainly used to evaluate the news in Lebanon from a comfortable seat abroad. Although the blog does not support one political party nor the other, it does take pride in being a firm believer in the principles set forth by Gebran Tueni and Samir Kassir's "Beirut Spring". In addition to ignorance, its enemies are racism, religious fundamentalism, sectarianism, capitalism, socialism, communism, monarchism and all politically, ethnically, or religiously driven -ism structures. |
