| Introduction | How can something be both a strength and a weakness? Traveling is my strength: I love meeting people, eating, exploring, and not knowing what will happen next, which all blend effortlessly together while traveling. It is also my weakness: I would suffer culture shock multiple times over to hoard the feeling of discovery. After working in the business world for 18 months, traveling to 24 countries and learning more than I ever thought possible, I turned the page to a different form of travel: backpacking. SE Asia squeezed the international adventure bug out of my system (if only for a short time) and I am now parked in Boston working for the world's largest travel site, TripAdvisor. My blog mixes stories of past voyages and unforgettable experiences, hopefully convincing its readers to find adventure in every moment and decision that daily life brings. |
