Introduction	Life has no purpose except to propagate itself. Any talk about the soul or the all knowing conscience from which we emerged and into which we'll merge is rubbish. What then should serve as the reason for existence? Getting rich, powerful, making a difference to the world, all of this, where does it lead to? To what higher purpose? Actually there isn't any higher purpose than to survive. All I am living for is to discover as much about the world as possible. That is Man's true destiny and towards that goal lies his salvation.
Interests	Artificial Intelligence, Formal Methods in Computer Science......wish those were the only ones but I am cursed with an interest in almost everything under the Sun which combined with an indomitable tendency towards laziness can only mean that I'll forever remain a dilettante.
Favorite movies	Oh I could go on and on... Let me just say I adore Satyajit Ray, Roman Polanski, Ingmar Bergman et al and I abhor the junk that regularly comes out of the assembly lines of both Bollywood and Hollywood.
Favorite music	Bob Dylan, Beatles are my all time favorites. So are the compositions of S.D.Burman.
Favorite books	I recently read a number of books by V.S.Naipual and Freedom at Midnight by Lapierre and Collins, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. John LeCarre's spy fiction are all excellent reads, and basically everything by George Orwell is as good as its weight in gold.
