| Introduction | For those of you not familiar, you might ask, what is The Slandy Report, and who is Slandy? The Slandy Report has been an annual review of the NAIAS, held each January in Detroit. We have provided commentary about new cars and trucks and concepts at the show, along with our opinion of what to see and do when you go to the show. Slandy is our publisher and writer. He is a former automotive industry finance and marketing professional. He has significant experience in the trenches of one of the companies formerly known as the Big 3. He worked in manufacturing, product development and marketing (including pricing, sales forecasting and fleet) for 15 years. One day, he decided that his services were no longer required and got a new job outside of the industry. He continues to be somewhat obsessed with the car biz. He's been told to seek professional help, but says that people just don't understand. |
| Interests | After several years of The Slandy Report publishing only for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS - The Detroit Auto Show), we have branched out. The Slandy Report will now provide commentary, opinion and reviews about all things automotive on a regular basis throughout the year. There is no set schedule, but whenever there is news in the automotive world, you can count on The Slandy Report to provide our usual unique perspective and cut through all of the double-talk and tell it like it really is. |
