| Introduction | 42 year old David Grant starting building skateboard ramps in his home town as a teeneager in Pleasant Grove, Utah. In 1996 he relocated to the Mattole valley at age 23 and apprenticed under Groeling and Associates building in the arts and crafts style using reclaimed redwood and local lumber. In 1999-2000 he studied under Krenov and associates in Fort Bragg learning the art of cabinet making. In 2009-2010 he studied under Bill Hole learning the craft of historic preservation and restoration at College of the Redwoods. This is a journal of his projects. |
