Introduction | Dressing up: slipping on a pair of five inch heels, throwing a dress full of sequins over my head, and sporting blonde tendrils. For me, this is not a discomfort, but a beautiful form of self-expression. For me, waking up in the morning doesn't mean just another day, but it means the opportunity to reinvent myself through an art that many people take advantage of. The art of fashion gives every individual the opportunity to own their style, and present themselves in any way they wish. A few things you must know: I swear by Coco Chanel, and the iconic pieces she invented (the tweed suit, quilted bags, etc.). A portion of my inspiration comes from my own designs, and creations, and yes, I hate to say it but I am somewhat your stereotypical "girly-girl". I have a constant need for over-sized bows, white pearls, and anything that sparkles. For those of you who know me, you are aware of the fact that self-expression through words is not my personal preference. Instead, I choose fashion to ultimately, define myself. My goal is to be as much involved in the world of fashion as possible. My dream of becoming a couture designer grows each and every day. |
