| Introduction | I worked in a small commercial woodworking shop for nearly a decade. I was fortunate in that the experience was more like an apprenticeship--just me and a guy who had been a high school wood shop teacher. Unfortunately, this experience, while valuable, shaped me into a one-sided woodworker. Now I am circling back to the beginning and attempting to learn as many hand skills as possible.
