Introduction	Teaching is actually my second career, after a career in health care. Starting out as a nurse, I later earned my MBA and moved into different aspects of health care. This increased my experiences tremendously and I found myself loving all of the education pieces. Having always had a place in the back of my mind telling me to teach kids, when I had the opportunity to change careers, I became a teacher. Teaching kids is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I have had. Whole Brain Teaching entered my life and has transformed me as a teacher and a learner. I love teaching my kids and watching them learn - the Whole Brain Teaching way.
Favorite movies	My favorite movie of all time is The Sound of Music. But then, Fiddler on the Roof is right up there too!
Favorite music	I love all kinds of music but cannot listen to it while I work. I get too caught up in the music and start singing and drumming instead of working!
Favorite books	Atlas Shrugged, To Kill a Mockingbird.
