Introduction	Retired from a career including Founder/Director of the Santa Fe Festival of the Arts, and associate director of Boulder’s Leanin’ Tree Museum of Western Art, I have written both fiction and non-fiction books. I also spent 25 years traveling on 3 continents, working in 3 languages and pursuing elusive data on the life of Chinese artist, Pan Yuliang (1895-1977) whose story reflects the history of the modern Chinese revolution, and who pursued a successful career in Paris. I have a BA in art history from Colorado College and, undertook graduate study in Chinese language, politics, and culture at Universities of Colorado, Wisconsin and Denver’s Graduate School of International Studies. I write about my travels, running after intriguing subject matter, and am old enough to know better.
