He has over thirteen years total international consulting experience, both in the private sector and as a US government contractor, primarily in reserve and protected area design and management, biodiversity conservation, ecotourism development, and community economic development. He has extensive experience designing and implementing local monitoring and ecological studies geared toward specific reserves and conservation initiatives. Tom has been living in Ecuador for nearly three years.
