| Introduction | My name is Deanna Buchanan and I am married to my junior high sweetheart.Together we have two beautiful girls. I love spending time with my family. We love to have dance parties, take trips to the park and just hang around the house and grill. I've even been able to share my creative side of jewelry and craft making with my kids. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from ULM in 2006. I have since decided to pursue my master's degree in elementary education, since I found my passion and calling in life. I have worked for the Ouachita Parish school system for the past 3 years. I've been a sub, long-term sub and now I'm a paraprofessional. There is such a joy in guiding and helping students understand and comprehend their lessons. I will soon be certified to teach grades 1-5. I have had experience working with classes from each grade level. I'm certain that I'll love any grade that I'm hired for. I can't wait to start my teaching career! |
