| Introduction | I'm Candide Peel. I have, variously, had breakfast with an Orang Utan, served dinner to a Monkee, and travelled across Bristol on a bus with an armadillo. I once saw a zebra with a surfboard driving up the Edgeware Road in London in a Citroen 2CV. There were no drugs involved on my part. I can't speak for the zebra though. I've done a bit of being a poet. And even more of not being a poet. Oh, and I have Opinions. Lots of 'em. This blog is a dump for them; for random thoughts that entertain me; small events I feel a need to record somehow; and other stuff that grabs my attention in the moment. |

| Favorite books | See music. Although I have to confess a grand love of 'The Glass Bead Game' by Hermann Hesse. God, how much do I want to see that game being played?! |
