| Introduction | Hello there world! My name is Sarah, I'm a 24 year old wandering weirdo. I studied English and History in UCD for three years, after which I had to admit to myself that a Bachelors Degree in Arts meant absolutely nothing and was simply my way of remaining productive while secretly not having a single notion as to what I actually wanted to do with my life. Therefore, I went ahead and got my teaching degree and hated every second of it. I then thought that studying an actual interest of mine would be a productive way to procrastinate further so I went ahead and got my Masters degree in Gender, Sexuality and Culture. My thesis was on The Representations of Female Empowerment in George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire". It was the best year of my life, a year where I started to, not only appreciate how ridiculously nerdy I am, but grow as a flaming feminist and poet at the same time. However, I still haven't the slightest clue as to where I was going in my life so I'm here to share my lack of direction with the world. Because that's bound to help. |
