Introduction	September 1st 2004 my life turned upside down. A massive infection turned septic throughout my body. This resulted in cysts on my spine, which left me paralyzed from the waist down. As things improved, I was left with living from a wheelchair. My entire life had been restricted to television and a laptop computer. Then one day my wife bought me a jewelry kit. That was the seed that started me down the path I follow today. It started with glass, plastic, and base metal, then slowly escalated to creating my own designs. I slowly climbed out of the vast hole I had fallen into. As I advanced, I learned to modify tools or simply make my own tools. With my restrictions, I have learned to make adjustments to standard methods to meet my situation and needs. I will be writing about these as I go along. My life still offers many challenges, but I now face them with support from my family and friends. Instead of dreading another day in a wheelchair, I now look forward to each new morning and the new things I am able to create. I hope you will enjoy coming back time and again to see what’s new in my life.
