| Introduction | When I started this blog, I was a mother of three energetic boys who love being outside just as much as I do. I really had no spare time to write a blog when I started this endeavor, but when a friend made the suggestion, I found myself excited to catalog and share my outdoor experiences! However, now I that I have five kids and am homeschooling all of them in addition to working part-time as an editor, I REALLY have no time for a blog. And that's why I haven't been posting of late! Maybe someday I will get back to it. WARNING: Please note that this blog is not intended to be an identification guide. Although there are many delicious wild plants, there are also many poisonous ones, and I have not attempted to provide enough information for positive identification of any plant. Before consuming any plant on the basis of information on this site, please consult a trustworthy wild-plant guide such as those mentioned in my first post (or contact me for more suggestions). |
