| Introduction | I'm a 70 year old teenager, thats the best discription i can give of myself, young at heart, but i'm afraid a bit feeble and decreped in body, I'm a Diabetic thats had 1 heart attack, and a partial stroke, among other things. Due to my many varied health issues, i'm not very physically active, but i needed something to occupy my over active brain, I first came across Tommy on a TV program about the American Penal system, which included Tommy Talking to Pete Earley, when Pete was allowed into Leavenworth Pen, to do research for his book, The Hot-house. I cant put my finger on it, but I sensed in Tom's voice, a cry for help, at that point I then dropped him a line, after I saw where he was kept, in a unit in the bowels of Leavenworth Pen, aptly named "The Silverstein suite" that was approx 10 years ago, and we've developed a close friendship since. Although i'm not too computer literate, i took over his website I did that because i saw that the guestbook especially gave Tommy a window to the world, for the first time in 27 years of total isolation, he could converse with folk from all around the world, and keep closer links with his family. |
