Introduction	Originally from Afghanistan, I moved to Canada in 1995. I recently graduated from Athabasca University with an MA in Women's Studies and currently work and reside in Ottawa. Ignorance and violence are my major challenges in life. They are also my best teachers - when I encounter them, I learn best from them; hence I strive to be non-judgmental, respectful and understanding of others' positions. From time to time I direct my frustration of the world to write (I should write more often) and paint. Though most of the time my inspirations of artwork come from daly life, love I see in everyone and the world around me.
