| Introduction | I first learned how to crochet when I was a little girl in elementary school. I used to spend the weekends with my grandma and one day she took me to the neighborhood library to meet a crochet group. She herself didn't know the craft but all the members were around her age so I was introduced and welcomed as the youngest member. I don't remember actually completing any projects, but I do remember playing around with basic stitches. It wasn't until after high school that a great friend of mine re-introduced me to crochet and inspired me to learn everything I could. I taught myself by reading books and when I needed a mentor she was always there. Over the years I was able to teach people of all ages and now I want to design patterns. |
