| Interests | Chilling out with cool friends over hot music and fine wine. Shopping. And gymming so I can fit into the clothes I buy. I also love good writing in whatever genre. Fact and fiction, allegory and analysis; as long as there is a concinnity between idea and idiom, and an elegance of expression. I'm in love with Gabriel Garcia Marquez's prose. Brilliant stuff. Non-fiction-wise, I'm a fan of Newsweek's Fareed Zakaria. A good, thought provoking and evocative film comes in a close second. |
| Favorite movies | I'm quite the news junkie. My time on the tube tends to be heavy on CNN and BBC. On slow news days the clicker switches to the likes of Discovery and National Geographic. History Channel is also an emerging favourite. I think Jon Stewart is the most intelligent man on TV. MTV is verboten. |
| Favorite music | Eclectic, really. How's that for an overused term to describe musical preference? But it's true leh. Basically anything other than rap is fine by me (is rap even music in the first place?). And I tend to prefer tried and tested tunes rather than fleeting flavours of the month. Music is like wine - it becomes better with age. |
