Introduction I’m a creative conservative who likes like cats, Cadillacs, cupcakes and concerts. I’m cheerful, clumsy, curious… a little catty… sometimes coarse… always corny. (Never would have guessed the corny, I know.) As for non-alliterative traits: I’m a bumpkin dilettante who revels in my southerness. 70's music, clever wordplay, and diet cherry limeades feed my soul. I attract a lot (no really, a LOT!) of random weirdness— which should be fairly predictable by now, but somehow never fails to surprise me. I’m blessed with funny friends, which is unfortunate for those around me; my booming laugh goes off more regularly than Ol' Faithful. Count yourself lucky that you can't hear it (or catch the mist) while reading here. Trust me, Cyber-Jules is the far less annoying version. Follow along as I navigate life’s tangled channels and discover anew why it’s always best to “Plan to Be Surprised”.
Interests These days I seem to be most interested in the enticing couch/fireplace combo. Throw in a good book and I can keep myself entertained for hours. My interests will change will it gets warmer outside: hiking and exploring the natural state. That's Arkansas - not some secret codeword for the nudist lifestyle. Believe me!
Favorite Movies Dan In Real Life, When Harry Met Sally, A River Runs Through It, Little Miss Sunshine, Out of Africa, The Holiday
Favorite Music Fuel, Goo Goo Dolls, Kid Rock, and here's a curve ball for ya: All the soft-rock hits of the 70's. I'm a 70's on 7 kind of a gal.
Favorite Books A.J. Jacobs "The Year of Living Biblically" is my most recent favorite. Malcolm Gladwell's "The Tipping Point" is a given.

You moved the pot before the coffee stopped brewing. Do you smell the mountains or the burro?

I'm definitely smelling the burro... if I'm drinking coffee instead of Diet Coke, there's some serious shiznat going on in the world. Only Juan Valdez can save us.
