Nicaragua Delegation 2011

Location	Portland, OR
Introduction	We are a random group of people who all attend Multnomah Friends Meeting (Quakers) in Portland Oregon. This trip was inspired by a 2010 visit from Paul and Becca of the Jubilee House Community (JHC - www.jhc-cdca.org) in Ciudad Sandino, Nicaragua. JHC is dedicated to addressing human needs created by poverty in this area of Nicaragua. Our delegation of 11 from Portland was largely inspired by the enthusiasm of Betsey Kenworthy, a long-time Quaker and member Multnomah Meeting. The group consisted of 7 people under the age of 30 and 4 over 60. We were also joined by a doctor friend of Betsey's from North Carolina and 4 Episcopalians from Michagan.
