Introduction I started fishing when I was a guppy, mostly on my grandpa's pontoon boat, with worms and cheese. But what got fishing in my blood was wading the river with the "stand by" gold Mepps with my Uncle Sam. His favorite stream was Whiskey Springs up Daniels Canyon. Me, my brother Pete, and my cousin Jimmy would seek out as many rivers as we could find in Utah. I wish someone would have talked to me back then about waders...it’s a wonder I didn't get tired of driving home in the back seat late at night with wet Levi’s. Since that time I reached a bit a of a plateau with the spin cast rod. My buddy Evan kept at me with the endless journey you get with fly fishing. I agreed to do a trip on the Huntington River, in the fall of 1998. I found my new thing. Since then, my compulsion has literally grown out of control. The photography aspect also goes back to childhood. My dad was a photographer, and I grew up with it. I later studied it in college and had a go with it for a while as a sort of semi-professional. My desire sort of fell to the way side. "The river" has set the photographer blaze anew. Together the two have combined to create this quest to fish the world one river at a time.
