| Introduction | Hello! Welcome to my blog. I love gardening, art and the outdoors. When I am not working my day job, I like to hike and mountain bike and stay busy with many different projects. I am at my happiest when I am in these elements. Gardening has provided me with a sense of peace and has helped me through some tough times over the years. I enjoy offering my help to others with projects and most recently had the opportunity to landscape a friends property including wheelchair accessible gardens. I completed two perennial gardens on the property in 2022 all from seed, then a new flower and vegetable garden in 2023. I live in a small apartment so I do not currently have a garden of my own but I feel very blessed to have this shared space to grow and create in. I also create handbags. My favorite materials to work with are leather, paint and upholstery fabric. I am inspired by flowers and insects and incorporate them into my designs as much as possible. It’s been several years since Ive created my handbags but its something that I still love. I’m taking a little break from sewing and gardening is my new form of therapy.
