| Introduction | My spirit lives in the woods. My personal and professional goal is to create moss gardens and promote the eco-friendly advantages of bryophytes in sustainable landscapes. I've been fascinated with mosses since childhood and made my first terrarium at age 10. Now, many moons later, I am creating moss retreats from bryophytes rescued from high-impact areas in western North Carolina. The first step in going green should be native plant rescue. Then after green construction is completed, reintroduce indigenous plants back in native restoration projects or innovative, artistic features. Go Green With Moss! |
