| Introduction | This blog attempts to create a whole out of the multicolored pieces that make up my life. Not only do I prefer an art form using recycled fabric pieces (fabric collage/art quilts) and a craft using objets trouvés and broken tiles (mosaicking), but my home reflects my delight in repurposing pieces of this and that and accumulated “stuff.” Other pieces of my life include bee-keeping, gardening, and researching/ writing on women’s history—all this on a small farm…in Tunisia. Should I have named this blog “West Coast (USA) City Girl Gone Country”? So many pieces and so much diversity that constitute a creative life. And as I get younger and younger, I offer this bit of wisdom: Have fun and enjoy it, whatever you may endeavor. Welcome to my blog. |
