| Introduction | Welcome to the Classic British Kits SIG. We are an IPMS(UK) special interest group focusing on the plastic model kits from the golden age of the hobby. Names like Airfix, Frog and Mastchbox are synomonous with plastic models kits and though only Airfix is still going the others kits are still readily available on the second hand market and reboxed to this very day by other manufacturers. The CBK unashamedily celebrates the nostalgia of our youth and it's purpose is to promote the hobby as a fun and relaxing. The CBK regularly displays at models show with a new big display for Scale Modell world at Telford every year that brings together from the efforts of modellers all over the world. CBK activity take place on the Unoffical Airfix Modellers Forum, this blog will keep you updated on shows that we attend and and other CBK events.
